Connector and partnership
catalyst

Mayra Casttro is an expert in building bridges between people, ideas and interests, helping to transform relationships into concrete results.
Curious by nature, a diplomat by nature and a connector by choice, Mayra's career is marked by cultural diversity and experiences in international contexts.
She has been to the King of Spain's house in Madrid, has a book written by Mikail Gorbachev, has spoken at the United Nations, lectured in Japan on nuclear disarmament, carried out a project in India against human trafficking, set up the Swiss government's scientific consulate in São Paulo, lived in a riverside community in the Amazon, and has presented at international events such as WebSummit in Portugal and South Summit in Spain.

Strongly influenced by her cultural roots, Mayra believes that authentic connections are not only tools for professional success, but fundamental pillars for transforming lives and driving changes that can shape the future.
Originally from the Amazon, Mayra lived in Europe for 6 years and has a Master's degree in international and European law from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She dreamed of being a diplomat since she was a child and ended up working in scientific diplomacy, returning to Brazil to set up the Swiss government's scientific consulate in São Paulo, connecting both countries in science, education, art and innovation. After resigning from her job, Mayra chose to transform her skills and experiences into art and created her own profession as a designer of connections and partnerships.
